Among the Machines Catalogue, Zabludowicz Collection
As artificial intelligence develops to potentially surpass human intelligence, how will we respond?
Among the Machines presents projects by international artists from the Zabludowicz Collection that investigate the impact of technology on our individual and collective identity and our relationship with the planet. In this book thirteen writers contribute newly commissioned texts, each focusing on the practice of a specific artist.
These artists collaborate with machines to extend the possibilities of being human, critically drawing attention to how human nature can sabotage potential routes to a better way of being in the world.
The exhibition Among the Machines, curated by Paul Luckraft and Julia Greenway was presented at Zabludowicz Collection, London 24 March–17 July 2022.
